Boston Organics sure delivers a lot of citrus this time of year.

This scene greeted me as I walked from the garage this evening.

This is my grandfather’s typewriter, purchased new in 1934. My grandmother continued to use it through the 1980s. It still works, though it could use a good cleaning (which I’ll give it) and the rollers underneath the platen have hardened and developed flat spots so paper does not feed smoothly.

Our cherry tree is confused by this season’s weather.

This afternoon, my car thinks it can go 615 more miles before running out of gas.

I hope to never use this

My car went in for service this morning so I stopped for a pretty coffee on my way back home.

Newly renovated Old City Hall in Quincy will have its public dedication tomorrow.  Today they installed a whole lotta sod and sent home a huge number of lifts, cranes, and other construction equipment.

(*) The exterior seems to be done. I’m told there’s still a significant punchlist for the interior.

 

With JohnK in town, a few of us went for a mid-day pub stroll in Cambridge & Boston (more walking than drinking) on this bonus good-weather day.
