We went to Rachel & Fred’s wedding today.  Here’s Rachel dancing with her dad.

We turned on the heat tonight.

These flannel pants Lis got me a few years back are really comfy on the cooler evenings we’ve been having recently. Too heavy to sleep in, I call them my lounge pants.

Fabulous tri-tip steak from our farm tonight. Shallot pepper from Penzeys puts it over the top.

Gordon’s Liquors put together a mixed 6-pack sampler of pumpkin beers.

I went to Taste in Newtonville this morning for a coffee and light breakfast.  I thought he did a nice job on the leaf decoration in my latte, so I took a picture.  He saw me doing it and did an extra-special design for the next customer so I could take a nicer photo.

Beautiful sky over Boston Harbor as I was leaving work this evening.

This item arrived in the mail today.  I thought, “a homebrew catalog. I’ve been meaning to brew again. I wonder how they got my name?”  Then I looked more closely at the addressee.  How did that happen?

What is it about a nice hearty bean dish on a cold rainy night that is so satisfying?

I polished off this bottle of Cognac in record time. Guess I liked it!
