Over the weekend somebody clipped the driver’s side mirror of my car while I was parked. No note or anything of course. I think it looks vaguely Borg-like this way.
 

I think a mixed bouquet like this — even on Valentine’s day — looks nicer and lasts longer than just roses.

There’s something about having breakfast for dinner that makes me feel like I’m back in the time when I was just starting to live on my own.

There’s one thing to be said for 2 feet of snow on the ground: the snowshoeing is excellent, even in an inner suburb of a major US city. Lis and I went to a park along the Charles in Newton Lower Falls. This bench is not currently among the world’s most ergonomic.

I bottled the Happy Monk today.  50 bottles, 8.6% alcohol by volume.

Lis gave me a present today: one of those magnifying glass / alligator clip thingys to help me with close-up projects.

Lis cleaned a pomegranate today.

I love the patterns whiskey (or other strong alcoholic beverage) forms on the inside of a glass.
