I cleaned out my coin basket today and rolled the coins. I found 2 of the state quarters I needed. There’s gotta be another penny someplace in this house!

My birthday present to myself arrived today — a new laptop. It doesn’t have the sleekness of a MacBook Air or one of its PC clones, but it’s got much more power than my old netbook, is small & light, has excellent battery life, and has a full-size keyboard.

Lis and I went canoeing today and were amazed to see nobody sitting in this very inviting chair.

It’s getting to be cool enough to really enjoy some dark chocolate and whiskey. This bar was bought when the weather was considerably warmer, and is distorted from the heat.

The advantage to three straight days of rain is that the grass seed I planted on Saturday is coming in quite nicely.
