The dinner that bites you back!

OK, so I’m breaking the Project 365 rules here.  It’s not like I’ve been posting every day anyway. But this picture was just too good not to post.

Today’s is the weather we should have had at the end of July, instead of humid and record heat. Evidently it was back-ordered.

Flower bed, that is.  We’re hoping the flower bed in front of our deck will be obliterated by construction next spring, so today I constructed a raised bed to hold the plants we want to salvage.

I came home today to a box full of rocks on the front porch.  No, that’s a good thing. These are samples of different varieties of soapstone, which we are considering for a kitchen countertop material.

We went to the Boston Local Food Festival today.  That’s a good looking cod.

Lis is not the only one who gets to play with Play Doh at work, though her opportunities are much more frequent.

I bought myself a couple bottles of Dogfish Head World Wide Stout.  This beer is closer to port than stout, but quite good.
