It feels weird to pack for a ski trip without my skis: FedEx took care of that part.  I hope.

Leftover coconut milk frozen into an interesting surface pattern and texture.

We bought some new aquarium fish this weekend, and they look like they’re settling in fine.

We had the carpet in the loft shampooed, and had to get most of the furniture up off the floor. This was easier than carrying it downstairs.

We had a Bits Night tonight, with lengua tacos, steak & kidney pie, grilled beef heart with three sauces. Our first course was marrow bones.

Our bulbs are coming up.

Braised beef tongue, cubed & being fried for lengua tacos for Bits Night this Saturday.

This is the receipt for our kitchen cabinets, purchased today.  I guess we’re really doing this thing!

I am not a big fan of white wine. But this one is acceptable, and cheap enough that I don’t feel bad about cooking with half the bottle.

Michael and I are FedEx-pooling, shipping our skis to & from Utah to avoid hassle & airline fees.  Here are my skis, back in the car for the short drive to Waltham. With two people sharing the expense it winds up a tiny bit cheaper this way, too.
