This is Juicy, one of the kitties we met today at the shelter. He’s in the running, yes, but I selected this shot for its photographic qualities.

We searched online for a cheap yet attractive lamp set for the new sunroom, and unfortunately the one we liked best is discontinued with no stock online or in area stores.  So imagine my delight when I found it in the store, on clearance, with a “20% off one item” coupon on my pocket!

The electricians ran more speaker wire for us, three speakers total in this round.  They used 2 different colors, and marked the third with a bit of black tape on each end, so we can tell them apart.

I took advantage of the somewhat cooler weather today, and of our now fully functional stove, to prepare 2 batches of stock — vegetable and chicken.
