I guess that glass tabletop isn’t quite level.

This is some seriously decadent cheese that I bought myself at Russo’s. It’s like a cross between brie and burrata.

I am led to believe that February is National Pancake Month.

I made chicken stock today. This one came out so rich & flavorful that I think it will wind up in soup this week, rather than in the freezer as usual.

I wonder what it would be like to live on a planet with less of an axial tilt? Would life have still evolved with a different amount of seasonal variation in weather?

Lis accidentally bought me mild salsa for Taco Night.  That’s nothing a tablespoon of ground chipotle pepper can’t fix.

A flight of bourbons & ryes. Small pours, of course: it is a Tuesday.

Batteries from my cordless mouse, and from the bird bath’s Water Wiggler, both need more electrons. I’ll let you guess which is which.
