Moon

We looked at Jupiter last night, trying to see any detail through binoculars or other optics, without success. The moon, though, was much more cooperative.

Groovy!

The city is repaving our street this season, and yesterday they made what Lis and I call “groovy pavement” in front of our house.

This box of M&Ms is one that was made to stock Air Force One. The group at my company that supplies WiFi for VIP US government planes gave a presentation in my office today to explain what they do, and gave these out to the attendees.

Apothecary

The Gracenote Coffee location in High Street Place does coffee-based cocktails in the evening. I had The Apothecary (hard to read in this photo, but basically a negroni with cold brew coffee).

Boring progress

As I posted about previously, the state is planning to rebuild my local train station. Here, 2 1/2 months later, is the soil boring machine that will drill at those marked spots.
