I took a half day off from work today to build the console table’s base.

I returned to Ikea today to buy the remaining cabinets for the loft that would not have fit in the car last time.

Ikea, no longer encased in cardboard.  I need to finish up some aspects of “built-in” for these to be done — wall above, trim between & beside them.

They’re digging in the road in front of my office.  I could almost hear the swearing from my desk when they found granite cobblestones beneath the asphalt.

We declare a draw this evening: in this hand, one meld wound up with two black 10s and we’re unclear whose fault that was.
