Turkey time

Yes, we get our Thanksgiving turkey off the back of a truck. We’ve been getting our turkey from our meat CSA since we moved to Newton, and it’s always fabulous. This year’s weighs in at 24 pounds!

End of Season

Likely my last lunch of the season from Shuck Food Truck, who said they’re now off the road “unless the weather is awesome”. They’re expensive for lunch but very good. I had the Lobster Fries, aka lobster poutine.

And I continue to be very impressed by my new camera and its tiny little lens.

Miniature

My new camera has a few gimmicky effects settings. The “Miniature” one is actually kinda neat, simulating the effect of a tilt/shift lens.

Little brother

My big camera now has a little brother. It’s about half the weight and much smaller, but has the same sensor and can take all my old lenses with an adapter.
