Ten

Ten years ago today, we moved into our new house.

We’ve made a few changes along the way to truly make it ours, but the essence of it is still the same 1890 folk Victorian that we admired ten years ago.

Aptly named

Lis and I went for a walk at the nearby Beaver Brook Reservation and saw… a beaver!

We saw no evidence of beaver activity near this pond, so we think this individual was out exploring today.

Not the biggest fan

It’s not the biggest ceiling fan in the house — the one in our sunroom is a little bigger. I installed this one in our dining room today to help distribute the heated/cooled air from the mini-split unit through the rest of the first floor.

Stacked

I worked from home today due to a cold. Ferrous very kindly came and sat with me, getting under the blanket. Then a little while later, Gandalf came over and SAT DOWN ON TOP OF HIS BROTHER. They stayed that way about 10 minutes. Cats….
