Racking day

The beer I brewed last Friday is ready to rack to the secondary fermenter. I think this is going to a good one — true to style (Saison), with a nice spiciness from rye. It’s nice that I can do this work in the basement, now that we have a sink down here.

Backups

My backup software was kind enough to remind me I’d forgotten to re-enable it on my PC whose system disk I had to replace last week. That’s fixed now, and the laptop is backing itself up now too, even though I don’t keep anything important on here.
