We harvested compost and spread it on the back garden bed today. It looks nice now, but we’d better get some mulch on top before the weed seeds discover that compost.
Lis went out to brunch with an ex-coworker this morning, so I treated myself to breakfast at my favorite coffee shop before a busy day of painting. Those who have been following my 365 have seen photos from Taste in Newtonville before.
This is a 1 1/2 pound, 1 inch thick, CSA-farm-raised lamb shoulder chop, grill-roasted with hickory chips in the smoker box. We just finished eating it for dinner, and I’m salivating again typing this.
